Dong Quai

Traditionally, dong quai is said to be one of the most important herbs for strengthening the xue . The Chinese term xue is often translated as "blood," but it actually refers to a complex concept in traditional Chinese medicine , of which the Western notion of blood is only a part. In the late 1800s, an extract of dong quai known as Eumenol became popular in Europe as a "female tonic," and this is how most people consider it in the West.

Taking dong quai is good for ladies especially after her monthly period.
Just boil with black dates and drink a cup before you sleep.
It's a very healthy drink.

Tien Chi Ginseng

Tien chi root is sweet and slightly bitter in taste, and warming in action. It stops bleeding while simultaneously reducing blood congestion and clotting. It also relaxes, detoxifies and repairs blood vessels, and speeds wound healing. It is a mild tonic.
http://oneearthherbs.squarespace.com

It's very hard and very difficult to break it.

This tien Chi Ginseng is normally good as blood circulation. When someone is hurt, we usually recommend tien chi ginseng.

Tien Chi is also good for promoting gowth in teenager. My boy was rather short for his age so I gave him tien chi powder. He drank before he slept. Now he has grown tall n taller than me..

Pak Kei

Pak Kei is a kind of Chinese herbs whereby it's used to strengthen our respiratory system.

I used to experience breathing difficulty when I was studying for my degree. I had to take a deep breath so as to clear my lungs in order for me to breath easily.

So I consulted a doctor. He told me I lacked exercise as most of the time I would be doing my assignments in front of my computer.

I adopted jogging and it helped but I could still feel the difficulty in breathing once in a while.

Then, I told a friend about it and she told me to consume pak kei with red dates.

I boiled a pot of  pak kei and drank it. But I knew I was too greedy. I put a lot of pak kei. After consuming, I started to cough badly. But surprisingly, after that cough, I felt better.

Since then, I don't have this kind of breathing difficulty anymore.

Now, I always recommend pak kei with other herbs for improving respiratory health.

Do you smoke?

Recently you can see eerie pictures printed on the cigarette packets. The government is trying hard to deter the public from smoking.

But it doesn't seem to work. Those hardcore smokers wouldn't be bothered about those pictures.

Lately, the price of cigarettes has hiked up but they still refuse to let go of this bad habit.

Now a packet of cigarettes cost RM10..
